Legal Internships

Internship applications for summer 2014 positions are due no later than April 4, 2014. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. Applicants are encouraged to apply early, and selections may be made prior to April 4, 2014.

Internships are available in the following divisions:

  • Legislative and Regulatory Activities Division

These are unpaid positions for students who have completed their first or second year of law school. We consider the following factors in reviewing your application:

  • Academic record
  • A sincere interest in financial institutions law and enforcement
  • Top 25 percent of graduating class (preferred, not mandatory)
  • Relevant course work in financial institutions law, securities law, commercial law, administrative law, trial practice, etc.
  • Law school activities such as Law Review, clinical programs, moot court, and judicial clerkships, and financial institutions-related work experience (legal or business)
