Minority Outreach

Minority outreach is an integral part of the OCC’s mission. External Outreach and Minority Affairs (EOMA) serves as the principal point of contact to facilitate the flow of information in and out of the agency about issues important to minority organizations and communities.

The EOMA staff

  • educates minority organizations about the OCC’s efforts to ensure fair and equal access to financial services,
  • supports minority banks and federal savings associations, and
  • maintains a flow of information into the agency about issues affecting minority institutions and communities.

Conference Participation

EOMA represents the OCC at and coordinates the OCC's participation in a variety of conferences each year, including:

The NDIP is a year-round initiative, administered by the External Outreach and Minority Affairs (EOMA) office, that contracts a highly talented and diverse pool of interns through national internship organizations to fulfill OCC managers’ intermittent employment needs.
