Kevin J. Bailey

Capital and Regulatory Policy
Kevin Bailey serves as the Deputy Comptroller for Capital and Regulatory Policy in the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC). In this
capacity, he has direct responsibility for formulating and disseminating OCC policy on bank capital issues and is responsible for the assessment of
supervisory issues associated with novel bank products and activities.
Mr. Bailey is responsible for overseeing the OCC’s efforts to develop policies and regulations implementing proposed revisions to the Basel Capital
Accord. He also serves as Chairman of the Operational Risk Subgroup of the Basel Committee on Banking Supervision’s Accord Implementation
Group.
Mr. Bailey is a graduate of Boston College and the Villanova University School of Law. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
