Béla Személy is a Senior Financial Economist in the Market Risk Analysis Division within Supervision Risk & Analysis at the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC).

Dr. Személy's research interests include macroeconomics, banking and financial institutions, and household finance. Dr. Személy joined the OCC in 2014 from Questrom School of Business at Boston University. He holds an MA degree in Economics from Central European University, Budapest, Hungary, and a Ph.D. degree in Economics from Duke University.
