Chris Reynolds is a senior financial economist in the Credit Risk Analysis Division within the Economics Department of the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC).

Dr. Reynolds' research interests include regulatory public policy, the influence of geography on economic markets, and the financial decisions of low- and middle-income consumers. His fields of study include public finance, empirical econometrics, and urban economics. Before joining the OCC in 2015, Dr. Reynolds worked for the Federal Reserve Board of Governors, the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas, and the Institute for Research on Poverty. He received his doctorate in economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a BA in economics and urban studies from Trinity University.
