Maxime Roy is a senior financial economist in the Credit Risk Analysis Division within the Economics Department at the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC).

Dr. Roy's research interests include the financing of higher education by students and their families, the securitization of student loans, the pricing of asset backed securities, and environmental economics.

Dr. Roy joined the OCC in 2015 and received his doctorate in economics from Carnegie Mellon University. Prior to this, Dr. Roy had been an intern and a contractor for the Federal Reserve Bank of New York and he completed a BA in economics and environmental studies at McGill University.
