The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, and the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development will host a webinar on June 1, 2023. Designed to support equitable homeownership opportunities and wealth-building in underserved communities, the event will provide a platform to increase awareness of recent homeownership funding and resources. The event will promote collaboration between banks and affordable housing community organizations, highlight affordable housing programs, and provide resources that banks and community organizations, can use to support low- to moderate-income individuals. Representatives from the Kansas Housing Resource Corporation will provide a statewide housing assessment and discuss new housing programs, including a first-time home buyer program and a housing assistance fund. Register here. For more information on registration, please contact Community Affairs Officer Mike Nield with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency.
