John G. Stiller
Senior Financial Analyst
John Stiller is a senior financial analyst of the Data and Analytical Solutions division at the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC).
Prior to joining the OCC in 2011, Mr. Stiller was an IT specialist-SAS at the Office of Thrift Supervision (OTS). Prior to joining the OTS, Mr. Stiller worked as an IT Specialist on the data processing team at the US Census Bureau in the American Community Survey Office.
Mr. Stiller’s DAS data management responsibilities are in the bank performance area and include the Integrated Banking Information System, census data sources such as the American Community Survey summary file data, as well as the Thrift Financial Report. Mr. Stiller’s technical skills include expertise in SAS programming with 20+ years’ experience (SAS©Certified Advanced Programmer for SAS©9), in addition to scripting skills in UNIX, Linux and Windows.
Mr. Stiller earned a bachelor’s degree in physics from the University of Maryland, and completed one year of graduate study in economics.
