Senior Advisor to the Senior Deputy Comptroller
Laura St. Claire is the Senior Advisor to the Senior Deputy Comptroller office in the the Economics Department of the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC).
Dr. St. Claire advises the Senior Deputy Comptroller on executive management functions. She is responsible for a number of areas that are critical to the effective operation of the Economics department, including developing and implementing appropriate internal policies and controls, strategic planning, assessing organizational performance, internal communication, change management, and administration of special research programs. Dr. St. Claire joined the OCC in 1998 and has an MBA from the Robert H. Smith School of Business and a doctorate in management from the University of Maryland University College.
