Roger Tufts is the Director of the Policy Analysis Division.
After completing his graduate degrees at the University of Michigan in 1982, Dr. Tufts joined the OCC’s Economics Division. He moved to the Office of the Chief National Bank Examiner in 1990, where he served as a senior advisor in the Capital Policy Division, specializing in bank regulatory capital regulations and the Basel Committee on Banking Supervision. In January 2015, he returned to the Economics Department as the Director of the Policy Analysis Division.
His research interests include financial instruments, capital regulations, credit risk, and market risk.
