Dr. Ding Du is a Senior Financial Economist in the Commercial Credit Risk Analysis Division within Supervision Risk and Analysis of the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC).

Prior to joining the OCC in 2017, Dr. Du taught at universities for 14 years. Dr. Du's current research focuses on tail and climate risk of banks. Dr. Du earned a Ph.D. in Economics from West Virginia University and an M.A. in Economics from Nankai University in China.
