Amy Klein is an Associate Deputy Comptroller for the West Region at the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency.
In this role, Ms. Klein serves as an expert advisor to the Deputy Comptroller on all financial institution matters and provides executive direction for Midsize and Community Bank Supervision operations including bank and thrift supervision as well as personnel management.
Prior to the Associate Deputy Comptroller role, Ms. Klein served as an Assistant Deputy Comptroller in the Lubbock, Texas office. She has served in various supervision roles in Midsize and Community Bank Supervision, including serving as a Problem Bank Specialist during the prior financial crisis.
Ms. Klein became a commissioned National Bank Examiner in 1997 and achieved the Federal Thrift Regulator certification in 2013. Ms. Klein has a bachelor degrees in accounting and political science from the University of South Dakota and holds an active Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager designation.
