WASHINGTON — The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency’s Senior Deputy Comptroller for Midsize and Community Bank Supervision Jennifer Kelly testified before Subcommittee on Financial Institutions and Consumer Credit of the House Committee on Financial Services. Her testimony discussed the OCC’s supervisory approach to assessing loan quality and performance as well as OCC’s perspective on H.R. 1723, the proposed Common Sense Economic Recovery Act of 2011, and H.R. 2056, to instruct the Inspector General of the FDIC to study the impact of bank failures.
