Comptroller Discusses Progress in the Federal Banking System

NEW YORK—Comptroller of the Currency Thomas J. Curry today discussed the importance of strong capital, the value of limiting leverage, the need for sufficient liquidity, and the importance of effective supervision in light of the last financial crisis. The remarks came during his appearance at The Clearing House Annual Conference.
