Collective Investment Funds

Overview

This booklet provides an overview of collective investment funds, outlines risks associated with collective investment funds, and establishes a framework for managing those risks. This booklet supplements the "Investment Management Services" booklet of the Comptroller's Handbook.

Applicability

This booklet is prepared for use by OCC examiners in connection with their examination and supervision of national banks and federal savings associations. References to national banks in this booklet also generally apply to federal branches and agencies of foreign banking organizations.
