Chris Reynolds

Retail Credit Risk Analysis Division

Chris Reynolds is a senior financial economist in the Retail Credit Risk Analysis Division within Supervision Risk & Analysis Department of the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC).

Dr. Reynolds' research interests include the financial decisions of low- and middle-income consumers, student loan borrowing and repayment, and the use of alternative data in credit risk modelling. Before joining the OCC in 2015, Dr. Reynolds worked for the Federal Reserve Board of Governors, the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas, and the Institute for Research on Poverty. He received his doctorate in economics from the University of Wisconsin–Madison and a BA in economics and urban studies from Trinity University.
