Colin M. Reinhardt is a Financial Economist in the Retail Credit Risk Analysis Division within Supervision Risk & Analysis at the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC).
Dr. Reinhardt's research interests lie in applied industrial organization and consumer demand modeling, with a particular focus on the effects of government policy on consumer and firm behavior. He joined the OCC in 2024 and holds a Ph.D. in economics from the University of California, Irvine. Before joining the OCC, Dr. Reinhardt was a Principal Quantitative Modeler at Capital One, where he developed account-level predictive models for CCAR, CECL, and risk management purposes.
