Tong-yob Nam

Tong-yob Nam is a senior financial economist in the Compliance Risk Analysis Division within Supervision Risk & Analysis at the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC). Dr. Nam joined the OCC in 2015. His research interests are in financial economics, household finance, real estate finance, and machine learning, with a special focus on portfolio choice, mortgage lending and borrowing behavior, and risk and pricing in the housing market. Dr. Nam holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Michigan and a master's degree in statistics from Columbia University.
