The State of Florida has reported a significant increase in the circulation of counterfeit warrants (checks). The warrants have "State of Florida, Department of Financial Services" imprinted across the top of the instrument. To date, the warrants have been numbered either "H4000112182" or "H3000128511." Another characteristic of the counterfeit warrants is that the font type and font size of the imprinted material is inconsistent in different sections of the warrant.
