Comptroller of the Currency Hosts Community Bank Directors Workshop on Risk Assessment in Charleston, South Carolina
WASHINGTON—The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency will host a risk assessment workshop for national community bank directors at the Francis Marion Hotel, Charleston, South Carolina, May 8.
The workshop entitled, "Understanding the OCC's Risk Assessment Process," provides practical information that expands bank directors' skills and understanding of issues facing their banks.
The workshop costs $65. Attendees receive a pre-course reading package, course materials, an OCC telephone seminar CD, other appropriate supervisory materials, a continental breakfast and lunch. Workshops are limited to the first 50 registrants and are geared primarily to outside directors of national community banks with assets of less than $1 billion. Management directors may also find the workshop beneficial.
