Led by some of the OCC’s most experienced and qualified professionals, our workshops provide fundamental concepts, valuable updates, and concepts you can put to work immediately. These sessions will also enhance your understanding of the OCC’s risk-based approach to supervision and examination activities. OCC professionals will provide training related to the challenges that directors and senior management face every day, from building strong frameworks to managing—and mitigating—various types of risk.
Community banks play a critical role in expanding access to financial services and supporting the economic vitality of the communities they serve. Ongoing education for directors and senior management—including participation in OCC Workshops for Community Bank Directors and Senior Management—strengthens board oversight, promotes effective governance, and supports the safe and sound operation of community banking organizations.
Directors and senior management can drive a bank’s success—especially when they are knowledgeable and responsive to industry change. Learn what to ask management, auditors, and examiners to fulfill your board duties and responsibilities and build a strong foundation.
