Garrett Senney

Garrett Senney is a financial economist in the Compliance Risk Analysis Division within the Economics Department at the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC).

Dr. Senney joined the OCC in 2016. His research interests lie primarily in better understanding the dynamic effects that informational frictions have on consumer behavior with a special interest in search and the use of online tools and platforms. His recent work focuses on online peer-to-peer loan markets and estimating consumer search cost distributions. Dr. Senney holds a Ph. D. in economics from the Ohio State University.
